The Walkathon is an event meant to take away certain attitudes that hurt the people and citizens of the state. The event covers a series of activities involving great dignitaries in the state and collaboration from firms to make it a reality.

The proposed walk is in collaboration with other leading fitness clubs in Calabar, the Cross River State Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Sports, NDLEA, the Federal Neuropsychiatric Association, and drug abuse awareness clubs (NYC, secondary schools, universities).
