Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs joins the Wife of the Governor for the official flag-off of Free Medical Outreach across 18 LGAs of the State.

As part of the \”People\’s First\” agenda of Her Excellency, Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Rev. Eyoawan Otu, the Honorable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, CRS, Hon. Dr. Helen Isamoh Egodo, in company of Her Excellency, Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, wife of the Governor of CRS, joins in the supervision of primary health care facilities as Her Excellency flags-off of free medical outreach across the 18LGA in the state.

The wife of the Executive Governor of Cross River State, while addressing the people, reiterated that this is a SEASON of SWEETNESS that it has always been her desire to be part of any philanthropic duty to the good people of Cross River State.

Her Excellency went further to state out terms carried out during the free medical services, where beneficiaries cover all the 18 LGAs in the three senatorial districts of Cross River State. She advised the general public to support the Otu-led administration so as to ensure the state meets the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on universal health coverage by 2030 through different health advocacy awareness and outreach activities targeted at reaching out to people who need access to medical care, especially in rural communities.

Her Excellency urges all sons and daughters of Cross River State, the general public, custodians of culture and religion, leaders of social political groups, and other stakeholders to mobilize their people to come out in their numbers and take advantage of the opportunity to have easy access to quality healthcare.
