Dr. Helen Isamoh Egodo received delegates from the Leaders of Support Groups for Prince Otu

The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, CRS, Dr. Helen Isamoh Egodo received delegates from the Leaders of Support Groups for Prince Otu who came to felicitate with her on her appointment.

Rev Inyang Eyo the Chairman, Board of Trustees in his remarks stated that the Association is a conglomeration of over 365 support groups inaugurated on the 24th of December, 2022 by His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu.

He further revealed that the association is made of 3 categories: First category consisting of groups that operates across the 18 LGs of the state, second category consisting of Groups that operate within senatorial districts and the last category consisting of those whose operations are restricted to a particular LGA.

Pst Essien Oku- the Chairman of the executive Committee, Mr Fabian Patrick- the youth Leader, Mrs Mba-Awan – the women leader, Prince Eyo Nsa- the Asst Secretary and Ntufam Eyamba the organizing Secretary Synonymously declared the group’s readiness to work for the success of Prince Bassey Out’s administration also appealing with the Commissioner to solicit to the governor to consider them in the state’s appointments.

Dr Egodo appreciated the group for their visit, applauded them for their contributions in the last elections, emphasized her believe that at the right time the governor will engage some competent persons amongst them and urged them to always include their leaders in prayers.

She concluded by making a commitment to consider the the vulnerable segment of the group in subsequent life enhancement projects that will be implemented by the ministry.
