As we commemorate the 365th day in office of Governor Sen. Prince Bassey Otu and Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, it is with great honor and pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to these exemplary leaders. Their first year in office has been marked by significant accomplishments, visionary leadership, and a steadfast commitment to the progress and development of Cross River State.
Governor Otu and Deputy Governor Odey have shown unparalleled dedication to fostering growth and development in our state. From the onset of their administration, they have prioritized the needs of the people, working tirelessly to improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities.
Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion
As the Special Assistant on Gender Mainstreaming, I am particularly proud of the administration\’s unwavering commitment to gender equality and women\’s empowerment. Governor Otu and Deputy Governor Odey have championed policies that promote the inclusion of women in all sectors of society. From increasing female representation in government to supporting initiatives that enhance the socio-economic status of women, their leadership is fostering a more equitable and just society.
Congratulations once again to Governor Otu and Deputy Governor Odey on this momentous occasion. May their second year in office be as impactful and transformative as the first, and may Cross River State continue to flourish under their exceptional guidance.
