Special Adviser to the Governor of CRS and Immediate Past Chairman of NYCN CRS – HY. Comr. Dan Obo, leads the Forum of Former State Chairmen, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) to celebrate the emergence of Hon. Chijioke Ihunwo as the newly elected Chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Rivers State.
All past Youth Chairmen of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) congregated in their numbers from diverse state in Nigeria, to celebrate one of their own; Hon. Chijioke Ihunwo, the former Youth Chairman of Rivers State, who is currently the newly elected Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, in his office at the Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Rivers State.
Addressing the delegation, His Youthfulness Comrade Dan Obo, while highlighting the outstanding contributions of Hon. Ihunwo towards the development of young people in the state over the years, said that the entire delegation is confident with his quality leadership skills, and it’s ability to deliver and make the entire Obio/Akpor LGA Proud.
Hon. Ihunwo, stated that his administration has outlined programs that will impact the people based on their needs with the goal to protect the interests of the people and make the youths proud. While focusing on the mission to replicate what Governor Fubara is doing in Rivers State across all urban and rural communities in the council.
The Highlight of the visit featured Presentation of a congratulatory gift to the chairman on behalf of the forum of the immediate past chairmen of NYCN by former Chairmen of Niger and Ebonyi States, Comrade BB Sherrif and Comrade Aligwe Samson Esq.
Some of the members of the Past Chairmen Forum present in the visit includes; Comrade Bellow Sherrif (Niger State), Comrade Oshon Obasayi (Osun State), Comrade Itumo Chijioke (Ebonyi), Comrade Asheazi Musa (Nasarawa), Comrade Justice Chijioke (Imo), Abdulazeez Ismail (Edo), Comrade Ejike Celestine Nnaji, and Comrade Sebastine Chukwuebuka Okafor of Bookastro, among others.
