Important Notice On Hostel Accommodation For Undergraduate And Postgraduate Student in UNICAL
It has been observed that some students deliberately and fraudulently submitted UNVERIFIED documentations for Hostel allocation.
Procedure for UNICAL hotstel verification 2025:
Therefore, the Students Affairs Directorate has set up a verification exercise to deal with:
- Students who deliberately submitted false documentations and information for Hostel
Allocation - Students who sold out their allocated bedspaces
- Non- Students or “stakcholders” who are illegally occupying bedspaces in the Hostels thereby constituting security concerns.
Date for UNICAL hostel verification 2025
This exercise will commence spontancously from WED 12 February, 2025 and will end
MIDNIGHT, 19* February, 2025.
Consequently, ALL occupants of Hostel bedspaces (including SUG Officials) are advised by this notice to go online from the said date at www.unicalhostels.com and follow through with the verification which ends with you printing out the OFFICIAL Hostel Allocation Slip (see sample below).
If you are in DEFAULT of any of the 3points listed above, your bedspace will immediately be revoked and re-allocated without appropriate refunds.
You will also be summarily evicted from the hostel and banned further privileges of hostel Allocation.
Those who are yet to be allocated bedspace(s) or who wish to apply for SAME can register on the hostel PORTAL.
Thereafter, such applicants are advised to exercise some little patience as they will be notified on what to do via the email address provided.
This exercise is for SECURITY REASONS and to ensure that ONLY bona fide and legitimate Students occupy bedspaces in the Hostels.
