The Cross River State Carnival Commission has released the official Results for the second Carnival Calabar dry run for the senior category of the 2025 November dry run. Seven bands competed in the exercise, with Calas Vegas taking first place with an average score of 8.44.
In a competitive showing at the November dry run, Calas Vegas emerged as the top band in the senior category, edging out seasoned contenders. The results, signed by Chief Adjudicator Dr. Arnold B. Udoka and released on 17 November 2025, reflect judges’ scores across three adjudication panels: Botanical, Scorpio and MCC.

Other competing bands and their averages included Freedom Band and Passion4 Band (both with average 7.94), Seagull Band (7.89), and Bayside Band (7.56).
The adjudication table shows tight margins between the top bands, with Calas Vegas securing first place by a narrow lead over Diamond Band. Notably, Masta Blasta received the highest single-panel score — a 9.0 from the Scorpio panel — demonstrating strong performance in that category.
