The Cross River State Government hereby announces the cancellation of Saturday, 31 January, 2026 Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise.
This is to ensure that candidates and functionaries of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) participating in the 2026 General Education Certificate (GCE) first series, are not hindered from accessing their examination centres.
Please note that there will be no restriction of human and vehicular movement on said date.
The Monthly Environmental Sanitation will resume in February, 2026.
However, business owners and residents are encouraged to clean their surroundings, drainages/gutters and evacuate their waste appropriately.
