Residents of Lemna Community have endorsed Bassey Otu and his deputy for a second term, citing impactful grassroots development, particularly the installation of a 500KVA transformer that restored electricity in the area.
The project has improved power supply, boosted small businesses, and enhanced living conditions, prompting widespread celebration among residents.
Community Chairman, Imoke Frederick, praised the governor’s swift response to their long-standing electricity challenge, describing it as both timely and transformative. He also announced the community’s commitment of 5,000 votes in support of the governor’s 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking at the event, Saviour commended the administration’s grassroots-focused approach, while Ekpenyong Akibaurged residents to remain united and committed to continuity in governance.
The endorsement ended with renewed assurances of loyalty, as the community expressed confidence in sustained development under Governor Otu’s leadership.
