The Akamkpa Traditional Rulers Council has officially coronated H/H Ntufam Hon. Paul Okon Ntui as the Village Head of Mfamosing Community in Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The colourful coronation ceremony, held on Friday, June 26, 2026, attracted traditional rulers, clan heads, community leaders, government officials, and residents who gathered to witness the historic occasion and celebrate the emergence of the community’s new traditional leader.
Performing the coronation, the Paramount Ruler of Akamkpa, HRM Ophot Agbor Ewa, congratulated and blessed the newly installed Village Head. He charged H/H Ntufam Hon. Paul Okon Ntui to provide purposeful leadership by promoting unity, peace, and harmony among the people of Mfamosing.
The Paramount Ruler further urged the new Village Head to prioritize community development, strengthen peaceful coexistence, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve the welfare and progress of the community.
In their separate goodwill messages, clan heads offered prayers, blessings, and words of encouragement, advising the new traditional ruler to lead with wisdom, fairness, integrity, and unwavering commitment to preserving the customs and traditions of Mfamosing while championing sustainable development.
The event was marked by vibrant cultural dance performances that showcased the rich cultural heritage of the people of Akamkpa. The displays added colour and excitement to the ceremony, reflecting the community’s pride in its traditions and respect for the institution of traditional leadership.
The coronation of H/H Ntufam Hon. Paul Okon Ntui marks a significant milestone in the history of Mfamosing Community and is expected to usher in a new era of unity, peace, and development under his leadership.
