Nottingham Forest Agree Deal to Sign Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace
Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement to sign Colombian right-back Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace, with the deal now considered all done.
Muñoz is expected to undergo his medical at Nottingham Forest on Sunday before completing his move to the City Ground. The 30-year-old defender will sign a three-year contract with the Premier League club.
The transfer fee is understood to be worth around €22 million plus add-ons, with the agreement also including an option attached to the contract.
Muñoz has established himself as an important player at Crystal Palace since arriving at the club and has earned a reputation for his attacking qualities, energy and defensive work on the right flank.
Forest see the Colombian international as a key addition to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. His ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch is expected to provide another option for the team as they look to compete strongly in the Premier League.
With the medical scheduled for Sunday, Muñoz is now closing in on officially becoming a Nottingham Forest player, pending the completion of the final formalities.
