Cross River State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations,(CRS-NIPR) has congratulated Imani Odey who was recently appointed as Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade on Electronic Media.
In a hearty congratulatory message jointly signed by her State Chairman and State General Secretary, Mr. Benedict Okache , MNIPR and Pastor Austin Mboso, MNIPR, respectively, the Institute noted that the recent elevation of Imani who is one of their chartered members from Senior Special Assistant to Special Adviser was a clear testament to her profound display of professional acumen,high level commitment, hard work, dedication, proficiency and effectiveness in her previous assignments.
The Institute charged the Special Adviser to live above board by exemplifying leadership in her new office as encapsulated in the ethics of the Profession, urging her to also see her new office as call to greater service that will add tangible and intangible values to humanity and the State at large.
“We wish to also implore you to see your recent rise in status as an added adrenalin for you to further express yourself in both wisdom, character and practice in order to impact credibly on your new assignments in line with the confidence reposed in you by Governor Ayade”, the statement continued.
Adding that, “the Chapter also sincerely appreciate and thank His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade who made this elevation possible by his endorsement of your capacity and professional ingenuity. We hereby assure him that you will continue to deliver creditably now and in the future.”
While wishing her success in her outing, the Institute admonished other members to continuously be good ambassadors of the profession anywhere they find themselves by upholding tenaciously the Profession\’s ethics and code conduct at all times.
