The Embattled Former Deputy President of the senate senator Ike Ekweremadu was yesterday sentenced to 10 years imprisonment along with his Wife who will remain in the UK prison for 6 years and others this has drawn reactions globally even as the Nigerian office of the International Human Rights Protection Service has called for the review of the judgement sentencing the Nigerian Senator his wife and others.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja the Country President Dr Charles Omini called on the Nigerian Judiciary to see the judgement passed by the United Kingdom as wake up call for the Nigerian Judiciary and that justice must be served at all levels and that Nigeria is where it is today as a result of corruption in the Judiciary and the law enforcement agencies.
Omini who stressed on the need for judiciary and the law enforcement agencies to sit up with their responsibilities
