It is now becoming not challengeable that Engr. Ben Akak, the Otuekong Ukwa Eburutu 1, is a perfect example of Nigerian Youths who are ever ready for a given opportunity to hit the sky, running. Yes, this cannot be debatable as he, Engr Akak, is also a youth whose successes today stem from the fact that he understood on time, the need of preparedness for success.
No doubt, the reason many Nigerian Youths are still complaining, casting aspersions on the older generations is that they are not actually ready for what they need. All they want is to jump like the famous movie \”spider Man\” to where they should be, without minding the prerequisites of getting there.
Akak kicks when he hears stories like that of a young Man who complained bitterly that the government is not fair to him, whereas, he does not even have his CV, credentials, even an attempted Company registration documents in his car pishen hole, in case of necessity. He waited for the Government to build his CV and maybe apply for a Company name for him, before he realizes that he needs to prepare for what he wants.
Honestly, Engr. Ben Akak believes that it is time for the Youths of the Green Nation to realize that God, their Governments and families have different roles to play in their successes, while they play the major role of self preparedness.
For the essence of emphacies, Ben Akak had since prepared himself before time, to face the harsh condition of the present World\’s economy when he projected entrepreneurship as a remedy for survival, hence his establishment of Bengies Group of Companies at a very young age, beginning from hawking fruit juice to tables/chairs rental, which metamorphosed into sprees of business ventures today.
In Cross River State, Akak enjoins Youths to identify and develops on what their hands can do, before the Government and well meaning entrepreneurs can pick interest. All the youths should do, according to Engr Ben Akak, is to be creative enough not be ignored.
Luckily for Cross Riverians, their Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu is a fan of creativity, who wouldn\’t waste time in encouraging youthful creativity, hence his open declaration before hand, that proliferation of appointments wouldn\’t be the focus of his government.
On worthy note therefore, there is a need for the Nigerian Youths and/or Youths of Cross River State to look deeper into what they can offer, not necessarily which office they want to occupy. Doing this, much more of others could benefit from their chains of creativity, without soul – hunting the government for mass survival, of which no government can ensure till eternity.
