Nigerian-American athlete Ruth Usoro has made her mark at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, qualifying for the women\’s long jump final. Hailing from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, Ruth’s remarkable achievement is a testament to her dedication and passion for sports.

Born on October 4, 1997, in Utu Edem Usung, Ikot Ekpene LGA, Ruth\’s journey to the Olympics was inspired by her father\’s love for soccer. She honed her skills at Texas Tech University, where she earned degrees in Communication Studies and Mass Communication.
