Biase Young Ladies In Politics; is a body which embodies young, bold, vibrant, beautiful, strong and smart young ladies of Biase, both home and in diaspora drawn from all the 11 wards who are always ready to work for the interest of Biase.

In a bid to familiarize with the body, Onun Dr. Emil Inyang (candidate for House of Representatives, Biase/Akamkpa Federal Constituency) in the All progressive Congress (APC) and Engr Francis Ogban (candidate for House of Assembly, Biase State Constituency) graced its meeting today held at Airport Field, Calabar.

The leader of the group, Comrade Elsie Kingsley Ubio, in her opening remark appreciated the candidates for finding out time in their tight schedule to be present in the meeting. She further analyzed that the availability of a leader is a great trait which cannot be undermined as it increases the confidence of the people.

While responding, the DG, Onun Emil Inyang/Engr Francis Ogban Campaign Organisation, Associate Prof. Uti Egbai, reiterated the importance of young ladies participation in politics. He urged the ladies to continue working tirelessly for the good of Biase as their efforts will not go unnoticed and emphasized that the campaign organization is ready to work with the group.

On their parts, the resilient candidates, Onun Dr. Emil Inyang and Engr Francis Ogban, expressed satisfaction in the movement describing it as “a step in the right direction”. They charged the young ladies to always stand strong devoid of fear and continue working for the interest of the good people of Biase, reminiscing on the fact that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow.
