Rauf Olaniyan Deputy Gov. decamps to APC

The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan has dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and moved to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

Olaniyan made this known on Sunday during a press conference in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

He added he remains the Deputy Governor of the state adding his defection doesn’t affect the relationship between him and Governor Seyi Makinde.

There had been a frosty relationship between the Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and his former deputy, Olaniyan few months after their inauguration in 2019.
