Calabar Municipal Women Reaffirm Support for Gov. Otu and Bassey Akiba
The popular women’s group in Cross River State, known as Bassey Otu Bassey Akiba Babes (BB Babes), recently took the initiative to engage with the women of Calabar Municipal at ward 3 and Ward 4. They distributed items and shared insightful messages about the positive impact of the current administration.
The Director-General (DG) of BB Babes officially welcomed everyone and expressed appreciation for their ongoing support for the administration. She inquired about their awareness of the administration’s progress, receiving an affirming response. Hon. Nkoyo Otu, the DG, further encouraged them to continue supporting the administration.
Mrs. Caro, the Chairperson Cordinators committee, reminded the women that the primary goal of the meeting was to advocate for the current administration and inform them about the accomplishments it has made so far.
Representatives from each ward expressed their gratitude to the DG, ward leaders, and the organization for taking the time to visit and engage with them. They expressed their sincere appreciation for the gesture and promised not to take it for granted.
The DG, Hon. Nkoyo Otu, concluded the event by distributing items, followed by a vote of thanks and a closing prayer.
