Chelsea Agree Deal in Principle to Sign Marco Palestra From Atalanta

Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle to sign highly rated Italian right wing-back Marco Palestra from Atalanta in a deal worth more than €55 million, according to reports.

The Premier League club moved quickly to secure the talented defender’s signature, hijacking a proposed move from Italian giants Inter Milan. Palestra has reportedly given the green light to Chelsea’s project and is now set to complete a move to Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old has emerged as one of Italy’s most promising young talents, impressing with his performances for Atalanta and attracting interest from several top European clubs.
