Cross River Health Commissioner Henry Egbe Charges Governor Otu’s Aide on Synergy

 

The Commissioner for Health in Cross River State, Dr. Henry Egbe, has called on the Special Assistant to the Governor on Nursing, Mr. Esu Coco-Bassey, to collaborate closely with other health officials to fulfill the state government’s mandate of improving healthcare delivery.

Prince Bassey Otu. Dr. Egbe expressed confidence in Mr. Esu’s ability to contribute meaningfully to the state’s healthcare sector. He described Mr. Esu as a “young and vibrant man,” whom the Governor trusts for his responsibility, trustworthiness, and capacity to deliver. “You must be dedicated, diligent, and focused in the discharge of your duties and responsibilities,” Dr. Egbe advised. “It is equally important that you see yourselves as servant-leaders. Kindly cooperate with other appointees and stakeholders. You are expected to work in partnership in the performance of your duties and responsibilities.”

In his remarks, Dr. Jonah Bassey Offor, the Director of Medical Services for Cross River State, congratulated the newly appointed officials and encouraged Mr. Esu to apply his wealth of experience in serving the people of the state.

Mr. Esu Coco-Bassey expressed his gratitude to Governor Otu for the trust placed in him. He promised to prioritize nursing services and implement policies that would protect, promote, and improve the health and well-being of the population, in alignment with the Governor’s “People First” mandate
