MANAGEMENT OF BLUE STONE GAS AND POWER LIMITED ASSURE OF FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
Information made available from management of Blue Stone Gas and Power Limited is that more than ten persons have registered for conversion of their vehicles to CNG at the Vehicle CNG Conversion Center, Calabar within 24 hours of the registration link being made public.
The firm said various vehicle brands, make and engine capacity are among those which have been applied for, to be converted including Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, salon, SUV, 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder etc.
The management clarified that the conversion will be on first come first serve basis and encouraged those interested to register early in order to be served first in what will be a long list of clients to be served.
The General Manager, Blue Stone Gas and Power Limited, Cross River State, Mr. Emmanuel Etim speaking, said the Vehicle CNG Conversion Center, Calabar has capacity to handle up to 15 vehicles at a time and thus will achieve the conversion of several vehicles simultaneously.
He again assured citizens that Compressed Natural Gas is safe and is a cheap alternative to petrol and diesel. He added that it is also better on the environment.
He called on companies like hotels and factories with large diesel generators to apply for their generators to be converted to CNG in order to cut operational costs to save their businesses from collapse.
