Eteng Jonah Williams and Alex Egbona Are Reservoirs of Legislative Experiences

Our APC Candidates for Senate (Cross River Central Senatorial District) and House of Representatives(Abi-Yakurr Federal Constituency) Are Reservoirs of Legislative Experiences:

Our candidate for the Senate (Cross River Central), Rt Honorable Eteng Jonah Williams, and House of Representatives Honorable Dr. Alex Egbona (Abi-Yakurr Federal Constituency) respectively, collectively possess vast cognate administrative, legislative, and political experiences spanning thre decades which is second to none.

Rt. Eteng Jonah Williams was elected Member Cross River State House of Assembly to represent Yakurr 2 State Constituency in 2011. He was elected for a third term in 2019 and then nominated Speaker of the House of Assembly.

He has steered the presided over the House of Assembly with great mastery of the mechanics and intricacies of legislative procedures and processes. He has struck a great chord with the executive branch of government which has won him admiration in all quarters.

Dr. Egbona is also a legislator par excellence. He was elected a councilor in the Abi Local Government legislative council three decades ago. He was elected a member of the Cross River State House of Assembly under the platform of the defunct United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) in 1998 under the botched political transition program of the late General Sani Abacha.

He was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Donald Duke in 1999. He was appointed Chief of Staff to Governor Liyel Imoke from 2007 to 2015.
Dr. Alex Egbona made history in 2019 when he became the first member of the opposition to win a federal parliamentary seat in Cross River State in nearly twenty years.

Our people will immensely benefit from their exposure and experiences when both are elected. We must not make the mistake of electing rookies or those who have been trusted with leadership before but couldn\’t perform.
