Juventus Agree Deal to Sign Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham

Juventus have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to sign midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, with the Senegalese international set to make the move to Turin.

The deal has been agreed between the two clubs and will see Sarr join Juventus on an initial loan. The agreement also includes a buy option clause that will become mandatory if certain conditions are met.

The total package is worth around €30 million, making Sarr the latest addition to Juventus’ midfield plans as the Italian giants continue to strengthen their squad.

Sarr has reportedly been keen on the move to Juventus, with his desire to join the Serie A club playing an important role in getting the deal over the line.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been with Tottenham since 2021 and has developed into an important player with his energy, physicality and ability to operate across the midfield.

With the agreement now in place, Juventus and Tottenham are expected to complete the remaining formalities before Sarr officially becomes a Juventus player.

The move represents another significant step in Juventus’ efforts to build a competitive squad, while Tottenham will see the deal potentially generate a €30m return depending on the conditions attached to the mandatory purchase.
