400 formal-sector beneficiaries across Central Cross River to receive ₦250,000 each
The Oden Ewa Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its MSME Support Scheme – Phase 1, targeting entrepreneurs and small business owners in the formal sector across Central Cross River Senatorial District.
The scheme is open to eligible entrepreneurs across the six Local Government Areas of Abi, Boki, Etung, Ikom, Obubra and Yakurr, covering all 66 wards in the senatorial district.
The Foundation said the initiative is designed to provide financial support to small businesses and help beneficiaries strengthen and expand their enterprises.
400 Formal-Sector Beneficiaries to Receive ₦250,000
Under the formal-sector component of the scheme, 400 beneficiaries will be selected to receive ₦250,000 each.
The Foundation has advised interested entrepreneurs and small business owners who meet the requirements to apply early.

Important Application Guidelines
The Foundation has highlighted the following conditions for applicants:
Applicants who previously applied under the informal-sector scheme should not apply for the formal-sector programme.
333 informal-sector beneficiaries have already been selected and are expected to receive ₦150,000 each.
400 formal-sector beneficiaries will receive ₦250,000 each.
Applicants who submit double or triple applications across the informal sector, formal sector and bursary categories will be automatically disqualified.
The use of proxy accounts will also result in automatic disqualification.
Phase 1 to Benefit 1,233 People
The MSME support programme forms part of Phase 1 of the Oden Ewa Foundation’s broader intervention across Central Cross River.
The phase also includes a bursary programme for 500 students, with each beneficiary expected to receive ₦100,000.
According to the Foundation, the combined interventions will provide support to 1,233 beneficiaries across the senatorial district, with a total of ₦200 million expected to be disbursed.
Deadline Yet to Be Announced
The Foundation said the application deadline is yet to be announced, but advised interested applicants to submit their applications early.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners across Abi, Boki, Etung, Ikom, Obubra and Yakurr who require support to grow their businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity.
Applicants are also encouraged to share the information with other eligible entrepreneurs within Central Cross River.
