CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah PSC, FCAI Reassumes Duty as the 46th Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command
The Cross River State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah PSC, FCAI, has today, 23rd October, 2024, officially resumed duty as the 46th Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command.
CP Grimah, who had previously served as the 44th Commissioner of Police in the Command before being redeployed to Kaduna State Command, has been redeployed back to Cross River State to continue steering the affairs of the Command after the redeployment of CP Ukachi .P. Opara, psc (+) as the 45th Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command.
In his inaugural address upon resumption, CP Grimah expressed his gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, CFR, for the opportunity to serve once again in Cross River State. He reiterated his unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in the State, pledging to strengthen efforts towards combating crime and maintaining peace and order.
CP Grimah also called for continued cooperation from members of the public, urging them to remain law-abiding and to provide useful information to the Police to aid in crime prevention and response efforts.
The Command assures all residents of Cross River State of renewed dedication and proactive measures aimed at improving security across the State.
