Born on August 3rd in the mid-1970s, Revd Fr. Justin Udie’s story is one of commitment and transformation. Before answering his spiritual calling, he worked as a teacher, holding a National Certificate in Education (NCE). However, his faith led him to make a significant decision in 2001: he left his teaching career to enter the Catholic priesthood. He began his spiritual formation at the Loreto Spiritual Year Center, Abou-Chiche, and was ordained a Catholic priest in the Order of Melchizedek of Old on July 17th, 2010.

In this role, he oversees educational programs and services across the Diocese, striving to instill both academic and spiritual values among young minds. Under his leadership, the Diocesan Education Board has flourished, emphasizing the integration of faith with education and ensuring that students receive a well-rounded formation.

“As you celebrate this golden 50 years on earth, may the good Lord promote you in ways unfathomable, and may you arise with even greater strength to fulfill all the purposes for which God created you. Amen!”

The celebration brought together a cross-section of society, including parishioners, clergy members, family, and friends from all walks of life. Attendees shared stories about Fr. Justin’s humility, kindness, and dedication to serving both his church and community.
