Hon. Theresa Akwaji Ushie, has declared interest in the race for the next Bekwarra Council Chairman.
Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday last week at Ikanda, beten ward, theresa opined that for the race, she is the most experienced candidate while emphasising that she\’d carryout the local government duties effectively and efficiently if elected.
Theresa, who was a candidate for All Progressive Congress, APC National Women Leader, said that with the array of candidates who has thus indicated interest so far for the position, she is the most competent with the needed nerves, zeal and character to move the local government to its desired height.
While urging her supporters to vote enmasse for the now Governor -elect of the state, Sen Prince Bassey Otu, she boast that Senator Otu, has been her boss with high profile records and she has learned tremendously from his wealth of knowledge and competence.
She further reiterated her preparedness to dare the odd and sail the process, encouraging women to support her emergence as first female chairman of the council.
