Ahmad Abdul’aziz Yari, son of former Zamfara State Governor and Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, has led a solidarity walk in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Gusau, Zamfara State.
The walk, which attracted supporters of the Tinubu-led administration and members of the City Boy Movement, formed part of ongoing grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ahmad Yari, who recently joined the governing council of the City Boy Movement, has been involved in activities aimed at mobilising support for Tinubu and promoting the movement’s political agenda. Reports from the movement’s Zamfara chapter show that its structure operates across the state’s 14 local government areas and 147 electoral wards.
The latest mobilisation in Gusau comes amid increased political activities by supporters of President Tinubu across Zamfara and other parts of the North-West.
Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, was appointed Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election and has subsequently held meetings with party leaders and grassroots stakeholders in the state.
The City Boy Movement has also continued to expand its grassroots activities in Zamfara, with officials stating that the organisation is focused on ward-level mobilisation and support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
The Gusau solidarity walk is the latest public display of support linked to the movement as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.
