Cross River\’s Philanthropist and Established medical Doctor, Dr Janet Ekpenyong has bagged a National Appointment to serve under the Humanitarian icon and Honourable Minister For Humanitarian Affairs and poverty allevation, Dr Betta Edu to translate the vision of  His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu into working realities across the Country.
Dr Janet Ekpenyong is to serve as Deputy Head of Office/Deputy National Coordinator, National Cash Conditional Cash Transfer Program under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs , Abuja headed by Dr Betta Edu.
Dr Janet Ekpenyong had served as Director General, Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency before her elevation to the Office of Commissioner, Cross River State Ministry of Health where she gave a scintillating performance in the last 4 years of the Ben Ayade\’s government.
She\’s a recipient of numerous Humanitarian Awards and honours, including recognitions from Lion\’s Club, various students and Professional bodies, and the International Red cross Society amongst others .
She was also inducted into the humanitarian hall of fame by United Nations economic and social counc, a testament to her selfless service to humanity.
