NYCN Akamkpa paid a courtesy visit to His Youthfulness at Youth House.

The Coordinator, NYCN Akamkpa, Mr. Ekumi-Ehen Nyong, called on the National Youth Council Chairman, Cross River State, on recent issues arising from the entire local government.

Comr. Akorokpor Charles clearly mentioned the different local villages experiencing insecurity and bad leadership from the youth council sector; he explained aspects where the local government leaders aren’t following due process when it comes to solving youth issues from elections and any other administrative issues.

Mr. Charles mentioned electoral issues that were carried out recently but in the wrong direction; therefore, he pleaded with the state chairman to come to the aid of this community to solve the crisis that is lingering around the youth council of Akamkpa.

The National Youth Council Chairman of Cross River State, Comr. Dan Obo Jr., first of all reaffirmed the lack of communication between himself and the youth council of Akamkpa.

The chairman explained a scenario where certain people complained about the weakness of the local government coordinator in communication until certain steps were taken.
He urges the youth council leaders that there’s no issue with people hating you because of the election results.

He reassured the Akamkpa youth council leaders that he’s not having issues with anyone or the entire local government.
He urges the coordinator to make sure every issue with Akamkpa is dealt with before another person takes it to his office.
