Comr. Dan Obo Jnr. was honored by the ARMED FORCES COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE, JAJI NIGERIA, ON THEIR NIGERIA STUDY TOUR 2023 IN CRS.

The Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State, Comr. Dan Obo Jr., attended the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFSC) on their Nigeria Study Tour in Cross River State at the ministry conference room, New Secretariat Complex, Calabar.

The purpose of the visit was in line with the college curriculum of having a Nigeria study tour with selected ministries in various states of the nation, with the sole aim of combating security issues.

First of all, Comr. Dan Obo Jr. appreciates the Armed Forces Command and staff college for choosing Cross River State as part of the touring state on combating security issues. Dan calls on the commissioners and military forces to address the mindset everyone has toward youths and the issue of people calling youths the source of destruction in every bad news story in the community.

He also urges the ministry for wealth and job creation to intervene in producing activities that will keep the youths active, as so many youths are willing to serve with their talent and skills.

Comr. Dan Obo further outlines the institution of the state to be strengthened; sources of job creation shouldn’t be politically associated when opportunity is given to give jobs and empowerment; he picks up the aspect of communal clashes as it\’s eating up our communities, denoting that most of this insecurity is not caused by the youths.
While the question was received, one of the commandants requested the template that enabled the NYCN-CRS to have such influence and stability to the extent that the chairman, Comr. Dan Obo Jnr., received the first position as the Best Serving Chairman.
