Helen Isamoh joins Eyoawan Otu as she Flags off the World AIDS Day Walk in Calabar

The Honorable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, CRS Hon. Mrs Helen Isamoh- Egodo Ph.D joins the First Lady of Cross River State, HE Rev Mrs Eyoawan Otu as she Flags- off the World AIDS Day Walk in Calabar.

The First Lady of Cross River State, Rev. Mrs Eyoanwan Bassey Otu joined forces with the Ministry of Health and other implementing partners to kick off the World AIDS Day Walk. The event is aimed at raising awareness and promoting support for those living with HIV/AIDS.

Standing in double capacity as Representative of the Governor, Prince Bassey Otu, and as the First Lady of Cross River State, Rev. Otu reiterated the government\’s commitment to combatting HIV/AIDS.

This year\’s theme, \”Communities Leadership; to end AIDS by 2030,\” resonates profoundly with the shared responsibility we bear.

Dr Egodo emphasizes the need to stand against discrimination towards those affected by HIV/ AIDS, breaking the chains of stigma and prejudice as she preaches inclusion and Compassion.
