The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence The cochael of provision di his pai ier as

A released signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr Gabriel Egbe, states that, he was relieved of his appointment for failing to present students of his department for the 36th Convocation Ceremony.
According to the release, Prof. Ecoma\’s action is an act of negligence of duty and display of incompetence hence the directive for him to be relieved of his appointment.
The Vice Chancellor, however, directed Prof. Ecoma to handover all properties of the University in his possession to Prof. Echeta Christian Chemezie who has been appointed to take over from him.
