In response to Senator Shehu Sani\’s recent allegations, the Nigeria Police Force hereby states that no individuals are currently in detention related to the 2020 EndSARS protest.
– All arrested individuals have been processed accordingly, and none remain in unlawful detention.
– In Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu granted pardon to approximately 100 suspects arrested during the protest.
The Nigeria Police Force reaffirms its commitment to upholding justice, the rule of law, and human rights. We have moved forward from the EndSARS protest and encourage the public to disregard misleading claims.
We urge the public to verify information before making statements to avoid harm and incitement.
