Calabar Set to Host The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) National Executive Council Meeting

 

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) is set to hold its National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting in the scenic city of Calabar, Cross River State, from July 21 to 26, 2025. The event is being coordinated by a dedicated Local Organizing Committee, ably led by the 35th President of the Association of Resident Doctors, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ogar Emmanuel Idoko.

Speaking with newsmen in Calabar, Dr. Ogar expressed the readiness of the association to host a world-class meeting, highlighting the beauty, hospitality, and rich cultural heritage of Calabar, Nigeria’s undisputed tourism capital.

“This is the season of sweetness,” Dr. Ogar said. “We are inviting our colleagues from across the country to come experience the warmth, elegance, and charm of Cross River State. From our historic sites to our vibrant hospitality, this NEC meeting will not just be official it will be unforgettable.”
