Today, the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM) led by the Chairman Mr Prince Otu Okor, joins millions of Nigerians across the globe in celebrating the 65th Independence Anniversary of our beloved nation.
In its goodwill message, the Commission emphasized that Nigeria’s story is one of unity, resilience, and progress—values that have defined the nation’s journey since independence.
CRIDCOM urged Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora to remain steadfast in promoting peace, fostering development, and strengthening communities. The Commission further noted that Nigerians abroad play a vital role in shaping the country’s image globally, contributing to economic growth, and driving innovation that supports national development.
“As we honour our journey to freedom, let us continue to work together, at home and abroad, to build a brighter future for all Nigerians,” the message read.
The Cross River State Diaspora Commission reaffirmed its commitment to creating platforms that empower Cross Riverians in the diaspora, while also harnessing their skills, resources, and networks for the benefit of the state and nation.
Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria! 🇳🇬
