The Special Assistant on Climate Change and Green Economy, Calabar Municipality, Racheal Bassey, has celebrated the New Year with Zone 1 Polling Unit members in Ward 6, as part of a grassroots appreciation visit.
The engagement brought together members from all polling units within Zone 1 of Ward 6, during which rice and other food items were distributed to support families for the festive season.
Racheal Bassey commended the polling unit members for their continued support and loyalty to the Calabar Municipal administration and urged them to sustain their support for the leadership of Apostle Rt. Hon. James Anam, Mayor of Calabar Municipality, and His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State.
Members of the polling units appreciated the gesture and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Calabar Municipal Government and the Cross River State Government.
