The Management of the Centre for General Studies (CGS) at the University of Calabar has announced that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for General Studies (GST) courses will commence on Monday, March 16, 2026.
In a notice issued to students, the CGS Director, Dr. Virginia E. Ironbar, advised all candidates scheduled to participate in the examination to check their specific exam dates, time, and venue through the official GST portal.

According to the statement, candidates are required to come to the examination venue with their GST course registration printout and valid student identity card. They are also advised to attend the examination strictly on their scheduled date and time to avoid disruptions.
The CGS further warned students not to bring mobile phones into the examination venue, emphasizing that compliance with the guidelines will ensure a smooth conduct of the CBT examinations.
The Centre urged all affected students to prepare adequately and adhere strictly to the instructions provided.
