ICPC: COURT ORDER RESTRICTS VISITS TO El-RUFAI TO FAMILY, LAWYERS, DOCTORS
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) says it denied leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) access to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, based on an existing court order.
According to the anti-graft agency, the court directive permits only family members, doctors and legal representatives to visit el-Rufai at the detention facility in Abuja.
The development followed allegations by the ADC that its leaders were intimidated by a heavy deployment of policemen after they were prevented from seeing the former governor on Friday .
