On the occasion of Eid al-Adha celebration, High Chief Edem Duke extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Community in Cross River State and all faithful observing the sacred season.
He described Eid al-Adha as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah, noting that the celebration calls on all Muslim faithful to reflect on the values that strengthen humanity — selflessness, love for one another, unity, and commitment to peace.

High Chief Edem Duke further encouraged the Muslim faithful to continue deepening the bonds of unity and peaceful coexistence across communities, emphasizing that the strength of the people lies not in their differences, but in their shared desire for peace, progress, and mutual respect.
He also urged the Muslim community to remember Cross River State and Nigeria in prayers, especially during this important political season. According to him, prayers should be offered for peaceful elections, enduring peace, and sustainable development in Cross River State under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu, as well as continued stability, wisdom, and progress in Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He further wished the Muslim faithful renewed hope, abundant blessings, good health, and lasting prosperity as they celebrate Eid al-Adha with their families and loved ones.
In demonstration of love, solidarity, and respect for the Muslim community, High Chief Edem Duke also presented a ram to the leadership of the Muslim community as part of the Eid al-Adha celebration.
