Three years after assuming office, His Excellency, Apostle Senator Prince Bassey Edet has continued to give Cross River State a government whose presence can be seen in public projects, economic activity, and renewed attention to sectors that directly affect the lives of ordinary people.
Across Cross River State, work in roads, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, and business development has remained visible. For a State long associated with culture, hospitality, and commercial promise, that continuing public activity carries real significance.
At a time when many Nigerians have become uncertain about the capacity of government to respond to public expectation, Cross River State has continued to witness movement in areas that matter to communities and local enterprise. Beyond official functions and public ceremonies, citizens are paying attention to what government leaves behind in practical terms.
There is also a growing understanding that the future of states like Cross River State will depend not only on federal allocation, but on the ability to strengthen local enterprise, encourage investment, expand tourism, and create opportunities within the State itself. The direction of the last three years reflects that awareness.
No administration completes its work within a single term. But leadership is often measured by the light it brings to public life, the confidence it restores in the people, and the ability to keep progress within reach of ordinary citizens.
As His Excellency marks this third anniversary in office, I join millions of Cross Riverians in acknowledging a period of public service shaped by commitment, visibility, and continuing work toward the growth of Cross River State.
