“Your Government Is Breeding Poverty, Unemployment, Insecurity” — Afenifere Slams Tinubu
The pan-Yoruba socio-cultural and political organisation, Afenifere, has criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu, alleging that Nigeria is worse off than it was when he assumed office three years ago.
In a statement titled “Tinubu’s Third Year Report: Summum Malum or Summum Bonum”, the group accused the Federal Government of worsening poverty, unemployment and insecurity across the country.
The statement was jointly signed by Afenifere leader, His Royal Highness Oba Oladipo Olaitan, and the group’s National Publicity Secretary, Prince Justice Faloye.
According to the organisation, the Tinubu-led administration has failed to deliver meaningful improvements in the lives of Nigerians, amid rising economic hardship and growing security concerns nationwide.
Afenifere further urged the Federal Government to adopt policies that would address the economic challenges facing citizens and restore public confidence in governance.
