High Chief Higgins Peters, A Pillar Of Reliability As He Continues To Fulfill Payment Of Salaries To Traditional Rulers In Cross River North

Once again Nostalgia and appreciation is spreading across the Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State as traditional rulers received yet another batch of payment from High Chief Higgins Peters in fulfillment of his promise to the northern senatorial district traditional institution. This is a clear demonstration that leadership is earned and deserving through integrity and sacrifice and not struggling to be recognized as such.

The third phase of the monthly stipend initiative by the natural leader, has been paid to a total of 128 clan heads and the five paramount rulers of their Northern Senatorial District, being payment for three months of May, June and July. This support is paid in arrears of three months.

Reacting to this kind gesture, two out of the five paramount rulers, showered unprecedented blessings on High Chief Higgins Peters, describing his gesture as one who truly has the people at heart, “Higgins is not the richest man in Cross River, he’s not in competition with anyone, he’s just a good man with good heart showing deep respect, love, care and affection to his people.
He does not owe us or anyone the good things he been doing for the the people of the north. We pray to God to preserve, protect, guide and bless him more and more and increase all that concerns him. We also pray that one day he will come out to contest for something so that the entire north will show him how much we appreciate him.

This act of kindness isn’t new to the Natural Leader of the North, it only shows his nature and reflecting the philosophy that defines High Chief Higgins Peters, as a compassionate man, a philanthropist and a helper of destinies.
