Veteran Nollywood actor, Ricardo Agbor, has shared the emotional story of how he and his wife waited 18 years before becoming parents, describing the experience as a true test of faith, patience and commitment.
Speaking in an interview with AfricanAList published on Sunday, the actor reflected on his marriage, the challenges they faced and the joy of finally welcoming a set of twins after nearly two decades of waiting.
Agbor revealed that despite the pressure and expectations often associated with childlessness, he remained devoted to his wife throughout the difficult period.
According to him, their marriage was built on love rather than ethnic background, noting that he married the woman he loved despite coming from different tribes.
> “I wanted to get married to a particular lady; I married her regardless of where she is from. She is not from my tribe. So ordinarily, we were supposed to have strife; no, it was very fair,” he said.
