Rudeboy Breaks Silence After Mr P Makes Emotional Claim About Their Late Mum

Written by Mary Bassey

Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has responded after his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), made fresh allegations about how their late mother allegedly treated his wife, Lola Omotayo, during the latest episode of his ongoing tell-all series on the long-running P-Square family feud.

Rudeboy shared a brief but emotional message on his social media pages on Friday, appearing to react to the claims without directly mentioning his brother.

“Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum,” he wrote, referring to their late mother, Josephine Okoye.

His post followed the release of the eighth episode of Mr P’s video series, in which the singer continues to recount events he says contributed to the breakdown of the once-famous music duo and the wider family conflict.

In the episode, Mr P alleged that a family meeting was held at his residence in Omole, Lagos, where he and his wife were confronted by his late mother, other family members and several pastors over their relationship.

According to Mr P, the meeting became one of the defining moments that deepened tensions within the family, as he claimed his wife was unfairly treated during the confrontation.

The latest exchange adds another chapter to the prolonged rift between the Okoye brothers, whose public disagreements have repeatedly dominated entertainment headlines despite past reconciliation attempts.
