Borussia Dortmund Agree Deal to Sign Giannis Konstantelias From PAOK

Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with PAOK to sign highly-rated Greek midfielder Giannis Konstantelias.

The deal is now at the final stages, with documents between the two clubs already signed. The player side is expected to complete the remaining paperwork before Dortmund can officially announce the transfer.

Konstantelias was in Dortmund on Sunday, where he also completed the first part of his medical examinations as he prepares to begin a new chapter in the Bundesliga.

The total package is worth €32 million, including add-ons. The black and yellow will initially pay €26 million, with further payments linked to performance-related bonuses.

PAOK will also retain a 15% sell-on clause, giving the Greek club a significant percentage of any future transfer fee involving Konstantelias.

The 23-year-old has been regarded as one of the most promising talents in Greek football, and Dortmund see him as an important addition to their squad.

With the paperwork and final medical steps expected to be completed soon, an official club statement confirming Konstantelias’ move to Borussia is now expected.
