Create Programmes to End Hunger and Insecurity, Stop Prioritising Roads — Amb. Charles Omini Challenges Nigerian Governors

The Special Envoy to West Africa of the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS), Ambassador Charles Omini, has called on Nigerian governors to prioritise programmes that will address hunger, insecurity and the growing hardship faced by citizens.

Omini made the call shortly after arriving at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, where he challenged leaders at all levels, beginning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to redirect their approach to governance as the suffering of Nigerians continues to escalate.

He urged the governors of the 36 states, as well as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, to review their development priorities and implement practical programmes that will enable Nigerians to access food, live in safety and improve their livelihoods.
