What Nomy Did That Cost Her a Spot in BBNaija

Written by Mary Bassey

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney Chukwu, popularly known as Nomy, has been disqualified from the “Show Ya Sef” house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.

Nomy’s disqualification was announced on Monday after Big Brother addressed her latest violation while she was serving as the week’s designated “bench warmer.”

As part of the punishment, Nomy had been instructed to remain on her assigned bench and wear a designated vest. However, Big Brother questioned her after she left both the bench and the vest behind, describing the development as another instance of her failure to follow instructions.

The latest incident came after Nomy had previously received a strike and a final warning for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions.

Following her response, Big Brother reminded Nomy that participation in the reality show was a privilege before announcing that the privilege had been revoked with immediate effect.

She was subsequently given 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house, bringing her BBNaija Season 11 journey to an abrupt end.

Nomy is now out of the competition and will no longer be eligible for the season’s grand prize.

Her disqualification adds another major twist to the “Show Ya Sef” season as the remaining housemates continue their battle for the ₦160 million prize.
