Veteran Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor, also known as Rykardo Agbor, has survived a serious car crash in Ibadan, Oyo State
The actor disclosed the incident on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in a video shared on his Instagram page, where he showed the badly damaged vehicle at the scene of the crash.
The silver Lexus SUV sustained extensive damage to its front section, including a crushed bonnet, smashed grille, exposed engine components and damage to the front-left tyre.
In the video, Agbor identified the location as being around the Cornerstone City billboard area in Ibadan. He appeared to be at the scene while expressing gratitude to God for surviving the incident.
“Thank God Almighty I made it out of this,” the actor wrote in an accompanying post.
He also repeatedly thanked Jesus Christ while reacting to the crash in the video.
Details about the cause of the accident have not been disclosed. It is also not immediately clear whether any other vehicle or person was involved, or whether Agbor sustained injuries.
The incident has since attracted reactions from fans and colleagues, many of whom expressed relief over the actor’s survival and offered prayers following the footage of the damaged vehicle.
Agbor, who has also been credited as Rykardo Agbor, has featured in several Nollywood productions in both English and Yoruba. He began his acting career in the early 1990s after working as a model and rose to prominence after appearing in Visa to Hell.
The actor, who studied Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan, has built a career spanning more than three decades in the Nigerian film industry.
