Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has sparked reactions following his strong remarks in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Oyebanji declared that anyone campaigning for Tinubu’s re-election genuinely loves Nigeria, while those who oppose the President’s return to office are enemies of the country.
The governor made the statement while expressing his support for Tinubu’s leadership and his ambition to secure another term in the 2027 presidential election.
According to Oyebanji, supporting Tinubu’s re-election is an indication of patriotism, suggesting that Nigerians who do not support the President’s second-term ambition are working against the country’s interests.
His remarks have drawn attention amid growing political discussions and preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
